Ok, so I'm a twice a year blogger. It has been so fun to get on your blogs. You are all so inspiring to me. And I really enjoy seeing how you and your families are doing. Love the new hair pics, new baby pics, the nkotb updates, the mud pics, the mandles that are now available, and the rotten flowers your kids are eating at the zoo. And for those of you with top secret clearance into your blogs, I would love an invite and catch up with your families too. We miss you and our Menifee Adventures.
We are enjoying the outdoors here in Utah. The last snow was about 2 weeks ago, so I think I can safely say that spring is here to stay. The boys are finishing up their spring sports and have a newfound love, rockclimbing. b just completed her first ballet class and was too cute in her tu-tu. I teach swim lessons at a local gym--so fun! And just completed my first triathlon. Nate is my rock and continues to have an abundance in the humor department. For the Tri they wrote numbers on our arms to identify us. I have scrubbed and scrubbed, and for the life of me cannot get mine off. So he now stamps every comment to me with my new nick name "24601" from Les Mis. Leave it to Nate. (and if you are laughing right now, yes, he's proud of himself)
Just when it seems I have things figured out, life has a way of shifting my perception yet again. My sister just found out that her sweet little 3 year old Ian has Leukemia. All the things that seemed like such a big deal to me, suddenly aren't. I don't know why some of us are called to suffer the unthinkable, but I know that miracles happen. And I know that prayers bound together are stronger.
www.iancrabtree.blogspot.com Each of you have touched my life for good. I want you to know that. I hope this entry finds you happy, healthy, and strong in the gospel. love-b
